How to look for a flat in India
Looking for a flat in India is a
challenge by itself, as it’s difficult to know how to proceed. So well, for
those of you who just arrived in India or are just planning to change the apartment,
here are my few tips:
Ask your friend for help
Your friend can give you advice on
how to look for a flat, on which area to stay or not stay in Delhi. As it is
important for you to stay in locations in which you will be safe and would not
have to deal with a lot of bullshit that could happen. They will also help you
to find a good broker that can really help you with that and not a broker who
will likely try to cheat you or not be helpful at all.

Ask your college
You can go ask your college to help
you also for finding a flat in Delhi, every good college have counselor
advisor who helps student to deal with this type of situation.
Go on forums for internationals
It can be helpful for you to also
check these forums, as they might provide you with some good leads about the
flats in Delhi.
Broker/ real estate agent
It is the last resort that I could
recommend you, is to go for a real estate agent by yourself, but you will need
to be really cautious as they can be most of the times greedy or not really
helpful when you look for a flat. They will either show you a flat which is
higher than your budget plan or show you a bad house quality which will not be
any good for you.
I already did these stuffs and to
be honest the last one was the most stressful and exhausting things to do.
Looking for a flat in India is quite a challenge by itself, even when you are a
foreigner in any country.
